The Junior Sailing Courses take place in the months of June, July and August from Monday to Friday from 09.00 to 17.00

During the day there will be alternating moments of theoretical, practical and recreational activities, followed by instructors from the FIV, Italian Sailing Federation.

From 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM approximately, for €8.00 (ice cream included) the students can eat a pasta dish prepared by the club’s chef.
Alternatively, it is possible to eat a packed lunch brought from home while sitting comfortably at the tables in the shaded areas of the club.

Each kid must have the following materials:

• A bag to store personal clothing
• Closed water shoes (no slippers, no flip-flops) or trainers;
• K-Way or waterproof jacket;
• Towel;
• T-shirt and shorts and two changes of clothes;
• High protection sunscreen already applied at home;
• Hat;
• Swimsuit;
• Packed snack;

Bags, clothing, shoes and personal items cannot be stored in the changing rooms, as they would not allow for proper and periodic cleaning and sanitization of the rooms themselves. All clothing must be placed inside personal bags. They must be positioned near the entrance.

The Compagnia della Vela has a guesthouse at the San Giorgio headquarters with 9 rooms including singles, doubles and triples. All members of the Sailing School and their families will be given the most favorable Members’ rates for accommodation requests.
All rooms have private bathrooms with shower, wi-fi, and mini-bar.

Registration fee for the 1st week course: €250.00
A discount of €50.00 per student is available for families with 2 or more children and for family members of CDV members and for all those born in 2016/2017. The €50.00 discount is only applicable for the first week of the course. The participation fee for the weeks following the first is €150.00 per child for everyone.
The fee includes membership to the Italian Sailing Federation.
If you decide to use the Club’s catering service, the amount of €40 (including ice cream) for the entire week must be paid by bank transfer, together with the course fee.

Registration in the course is considered complete by completing the online enrollment form and sending the following documentation to scuoladivela@compvela.com:
– Medical certificate for non-competitive sports activities according to current regulations;
– Copy of the payment of the registration fee, which must be made on-line or by bank transfer to the following details: Compagnia della Vela ASD C/O Banco San Marco
– Gruppo Banco Popolare, IBAN: IT42H0503402070000000101046, Reason: student’s name and surname + dates of the chosen week + Sailing School (EX: Andrea Bianchi, 18 – 22 June, Sailing School).

Payment must be made no later than the Tuesday of the week before the beginning of the course. Please note that, as places are limited, registrations will be closed once the maximum capacity is reached.
