Full Member
To apply, you must fill out an application form (which must be countersigned by two members that have been with the club for at least 5 years) and the RID form, which must be handed in at the secretary’s office together with a sports and professional curriculum vitae.
The application will be discussed at the first board meeting and if there are no objections it will be posted on the register for 4 weeks, after which, if there are no objections, membership will be approved and the new member will be notified.
Soci Juniores e Cadetti
I Junior members (ages 12 to 18) and Cadet Members (ages 6 to 12).
To apply, you must fill out an application form (which must be countersigned by two members that have been with the club for at least 5 years) and submitted to the Executive Committee for approval.
Membership is for one year and is automatically renewed unless the Board decides otherwise.
When Cadet members become 12 years old, they automatically pass to the Junior members category.
Family Members (article 8 of the Regulations)
Full, Lifetime and Honorary Members who would like members of their immediate family (limited to first-degree relatives or similar and provided that they live together and are members of the family unit) to be able to participate in the activities of the association may apply to the Executive Committee for their names to be entered in the appropriate register. This type of membership is automatically renewed each year unless cancelled and allows the nominating member’s relative to frequent the Clubhouses and club facilities and to participate in all activities or initiatives promoted by the Association, even in the absence of the nominating member.
Full, Lifetime and Honorary Members can request for up to two members of his/her family to be registered. The annual fee payable for each relative will be equal to 25% of the Full Membership fee.
One year limited membership (article 8)
This type of membership allows the holder to access the main clubroom and the terrace at the Sports Centre on the island of San Giorgio.
Applications for a one-year limited membership are submitted to the Executive Committee by two nominating members who submit the application, together with the payment of the relative fee, which is determined year by year by the Executive Committee.
The registration is valid for one year and cannot be renewed more than twice.
The limited membership holder has the right to invite a maximum of 5 guests, in accordance with the provisions of article 64 of the regulations.
Sailing School Student
Cadets and Juniors that enrol in sailing courses are automatically enrolled in the club for the year in which they attend the course. Students over the age of 18 are required to pay an entry fee in addition to the annual fee.
