Where the Belvedere of the Royal Gardens once stood, today stands the Compagnia della Vela historical Clubhouse. Since 1939, this neo-classical building, designed and built by Santi architect in 1815-17, has hosted the club main office.

The magnificent terraces and the elegant lounge welcome the social life of the Club and the restaurant of the Compagnia della Vela, in a unique and exclusive setting just a minute away from Piazza San Marco.

In front, along Bacino San Marco, there are three prestigious docks for members’ boats. The exclusive use of the historical office is permitted to the members and their guests only.

On the first floor of the main Headquarters of the Club, on the Island of San Giorgio, there are spaces for social and educational activities such as the Biblioteca del Mare e del Vento, a large multipurpose lounge for sporting and cultural events and catering and, in a more intimate area, the magnificent Clubhouse overlooking San Marco.

Compagnia della Vela can grant its large spaces and numerous services, exclusively, to organize private events, B2B events and incentives, banqueting, cultural evenings and conferences.

The Compagnia della Vela sea base, named in honor of the Venetian sailor Ottavio Ghetti, is located in Punta Sabbioni in Cavallino Treporti, and is currently used exclusively by youth activities for training and the organization of dinghy regattas.

It consists of an area of ​​5,000 square meters, on which the boats, trailers, vans and dinghies essential for carrying out the activity are located, with access to the refuge port linked to the creation of the system of mobile barriers called Mose.

On this area there is a project to create a separate sailing school headquarters, and soon, a tensile structure with bathrooms, showers and changing rooms to also allow the use of the 2.4mR boats also to disabled sailors.
